  5. Soon you'll be knee-deep in gasps and groans as you explore
  6. more than 1,000 wild and wacky sounds on this CD-ROM.

  8. - FINDING THE USER MANUAL
  9.  
  10. We have included a complete user manual on the CD-ROM, as
  11. well, which covers Kaboom! CD-ROM Edition specifically.  The
  12. SETUP program installs this manual onto your hard disk and
  13. adds an item called Common Ground MiniViewer to the Kaboom!
  14. program group in the Program Manager.
  15.  
  16. You can use the Common Ground MiniViewer to view the user
  17. manual on-screen from time to time.  Or if you prefer, you
  18. may print it out.
  19.  
  20. - USIN THE USER MANUAL
  21.  
  22. If you have a printer at your disposal, you should print
  23. all or portions of the user manual prior to getting started.
  24. Because the user manual document contains printing specifi-
  25. cations independent of the fonts you have installed on your
  26. system, it will take some time to print the entire document.
  27.  
  28. To print any part of the user manual, just follow these
  29. directions:
  30.  
  31. 1. Open the Kaboom! program group and double-click the
  32.    Common Ground MiniViewer.
  33.  
  34. 2. Choose the Open command from the File menu.  The Open
  35.    dialog box is shown.
  36.  
  37. 3. Locate and double-click the DOCS.DP file located in the
  38.    root directory of the CD-ROM.
  39.  
  40. 4. Use the menu bar commands to go from page to page or to
  41.    print the user manual in its entirety.
  42.  
  43. Also included in the MANUAL subdirectory is a file called
  44. SNDLIST.DP.  As its name suggests, this file contains a
  45. complete list of all 1,000 sounds included with Kaboom!
  46. CD-ROM Edition.  We suggest that you print this Common Ground
  47. document, as well.
